When he returned to Capernaum after some days, it was
reported that he was at home. 2So many gathered around
that there was no longer room for them, not even in
front of the door; and he was speaking the word to them.
3Then some people* came, bringing to him a paralysed
man, carried by four of them. 4And when they could not
bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, they removed
the roof above him; and after having dug through it,
they let down the mat on which the paralytic lay. 5When
Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, ‘Son,
your sins are forgiven.’ 6Now some of the scribes were
sitting there, questioning in their hearts, 7‘Why does
this fellow speak in this way? It is blasphemy! Who
can forgive sins but God alone?’ 8At once Jesus perceived
in his spirit that they were discussing these questions
among themselves; and he said to them, ‘Why do you
raise such questions in your hearts? 9Which is easier,
to say to the paralytic, “Your sins are forgiven”,
or to say, “Stand up and take your mat and walk”?
10But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority
on earth to forgive sins’?he said to the paralytic?
11‘I say to you, stand up, take your mat and go to
your home.’ 12And he stood up, and immediately took
the mat and went out before all of them; so that they
were all amazed and glorified God, saying, ‘We have
never seen anything like this!’

Jesus* went out again beside the lake; the whole crowd
gathered around him, and he taught them. 14As he was
walking along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at
the tax booth, and he said to him, ‘Follow me.’ And
he got up and followed him.
1.过了些日子，耶稣又进了迦百农。人听见他在房子里，
2.就有许多人聚集，甚至连进门前都没有空地，耶稣就对他们讲道。
3.有人带着一个瘫子来见耶稣，是用四个人抬来的。
4.因为人多，不得进前，就把耶稣所在的房子，拆了房顶，既拆通了，就把瘫子连所躺卧的褥子都缒下来。
5.耶稣见他们的信心，就对瘫子说，小子，你的罪赦了。 6.有几个文士坐在那里，心里议论说，
7.这个人为什么这样说呢。他说僭妄的话了。除了神以外，谁能赦罪呢。
8.耶稣心中知道他们的心里这样议论，就说，你们心里为什么这样议论呢。
9.或对瘫子说，你的罪赦了，或说，起来拿你的褥子行走，那一样容易呢。
10.但要叫你们知道人子在地上有赦罪的权柄，就对瘫子说， 11.我吩咐你起来，拿你的褥子回家去吧。
12.那人就起来，立刻拿着褥子，当众人面前出去了。以致众人都惊奇，归荣耀与神说，我们从来没有见过这样的事。
13.耶稣又出到海边去，众人都就了他来，他便教训他们。 14.耶稣经过的时候，看见亚勒腓的儿子利未，坐在税关上，就对他说，你跟从我来。他就起来跟从了耶稣。 |

1And
after getting into a boat he crossed the water and came
to his own town.
2
And just then some people were carrying a paralysed
man lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, he said
to the paralytic, ‘Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.’
3Then some of the scribes said to themselves, ‘This
man is blaspheming.’ 4But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts,
said, ‘Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5For which
is easier, to say, “Your sins are forgiven”, or to
say, “Stand up and walk”? 6But so that you may know
that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive
sins’?he then said to the paralytic?‘Stand up, take
your bed and go to your home.’ 7And he stood up and
went to his home. 8When the crowds saw it, they were
filled with awe, and they glorified God, who had given
such authority to human beings.
1.耶稣上了船，渡过海，来到自己的城里。
2.有人用褥子抬着一个瘫子，到耶稣跟前来。耶稣见他们的信心，就对瘫子说，小子，放心吧。你的罪赦了。
3.有几个文士心里说，这个人说僭妄的话了。
4.耶稣知道他们的心意，就说，你为什么心里怀着恶念呢。 5.或说，你的罪赦了。或说，你起来行走。那一样容易呢。
6.但要叫你们知道人子在地上有赦罪的权柄，就对瘫子说，起来，拿你的褥子回家去吧。
7.那人就起来，回家去了。

One day, while he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers
of the law were sitting nearby (they had come from every
village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem); and
the power of the Lord was with him to heal.* 18Just
then some men came, carrying a paralysed man on a bed.
They were trying to bring him in and lay him before
Jesus;* 19but finding no way to bring him in because
of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down
with his bed through the tiles into the middle of the
crowd* in front of Jesus. 20When he saw their faith,
he said, ‘Friend,* your sins are forgiven you.’ 21Then
the scribes and the Pharisees began to question, ‘Who
is this who is speaking blasphemies? Who can forgive
sins but God alone?’ 22When Jesus perceived their questionings,
he answered them, ‘Why do you raise such questions
in your hearts? 23Which is easier, to say, “Your sins
are forgiven you”, or to say, “Stand up and walk”?
24But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority
on earth to forgive sins’?he said to the one who was
paralysed?‘I say to you, stand up and take your bed
and go to your home.’ 25Immediately he stood up before
them, took what he had been lying on, and went to his
home, glorifying God. 26Amazement seized all of them,
and they glorified God and were filled with awe, saying,
‘We have seen strange things today.’
17.有一天耶稣教训人，有法利赛人和教法师在旁边坐着，他们是从加利利各乡村和犹太并耶路撒冷来的。主的能力与耶稣同在，使他能医治病人。 18.有人用褥子抬着一个瘫子，要抬进去放在耶稣面前，
19.却因人多，寻不出法子抬进去，就上了房顶，从瓦间把他连褥子缒到当中，正在耶稣面前。
20.耶稣见他们的信心，就对瘫子说，你的罪赦了。
21.文士和法利赛人就议论说，这说僭妄话的是谁。除了神以外，谁能赦罪呢。
22.耶稣知道他们所议论的，就说，你们心里议论的是什么呢。
23.或说，你的罪赦了，或说，你起来行走，那一样容易呢。
24.但要叫你们知道人子在地上有赦罪的权柄，就对瘫子说，我吩咐你起来，拿你的褥子回家去吧。
25.那人当众人面前，立刻起来，拿着他躺卧的褥子回家去，归荣耀与神。
26.众人都惊奇，也归荣耀与神，并满心惧怕，说，我们今日看见非常的事了 |
