Then they came to Jerusalem. And he entered the temple
and began to drive out those who were selling and those
who were buying in the temple, and he overturned the
tables of the money-changers and the seats of those
who sold doves; 16and he would not allow anyone to carry
anything through the temple. 17He was teaching and saying,
‘Is it not written, “My house shall be called a house
of prayer for all the nations”? But
you have made it a den of robbers.’
18And
when the chief priests and the scribes heard it, they
kept looking for a way to kill him; for they were afraid
of him, because the whole crowd was spellbound by his
teaching. 19And when evening came, Jesus and his disciples*
went out of the city.
15.他们来到耶路撒冷，耶稣进入圣殿，赶出殿里作买卖的人，推倒兑换银钱之人的桌子，和卖鸽子之人的凳子。
16.也不许人拿着器具从殿里经过。
17.便教训他们说，经上不是记着说，我的殿必称为万国祷告的殿麽。你们倒使他成为贼窝了。
18.祭司长和文士听见这话就想法子要除灭耶稣。却又怕他，因为众人都希奇他的教训。
19.每天晚上，耶稣出城去。 |

Then Jesus entered the temple* and drove out all who
were selling and buying in the temple, and he overturned
the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those
who sold doves. 13He said to them, ‘It is written,
“My house shall be called a house of prayer”; but
you are making it a den of robbers.’

The blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and
he cured them. 15But when the chief priests and the
scribes saw the amazing things that he did, and heard*
the children crying out in the temple, ‘Hosanna to
the Son of David’, they became angry 16and said to
him, ‘Do you hear what these are saying?’ Jesus said
to them, ‘Yes; have you never read, “Out of the mouths
of infants and nursing babies you have prepared
praise for yourself”?’
17He
left them, went out of the city to Bethany, and spent
the night there.
12.耶稣进了神的殿，赶出殿里一切作买卖的人，推倒兑换银钱之人的桌子，和卖鸽子之人的凳子。
13.对他们说，经上记着说，我的殿必称为祷告的殿。你们倒使他成为贼窝了。
14.在殿里有瞎子瘸子，到耶稣跟前。他就治好了他们。
15.祭司长和文士，看见耶稣所行的奇事，又见小孩子在殿里喊着说，和散那归于大卫的子孙。就甚恼怒，
16.对他说，这些人所说的，你听见了麽。耶稣说，是的经上说，你从婴孩和吃奶的口中，完全了赞美的话。你们没有念过麽。
17.于是离开他们出城到伯大尼去，在那里住宿。 |

Then he entered the temple and began to drive out those
who were selling things there; 46and he said, ‘It is
written, “My house shall be a house of prayer”; but
you have made it a den of robbers.’

Every day he was teaching in the temple. The chief priests,
the scribes, and the leaders of the people kept looking
for a way to kill him; 48but they did not find anything
they could do, for all the people were spellbound by
what they heard.
45.耶稣进了殿，赶出里头作买卖的人，
46.对他们，经上说，我的殿，必作祷告的殿。你们倒使他成了贼窝了。
47.耶稣天天在殿里教训人。祭司长，和文士，与百姓的尊长，都想要杀他。
48.但寻不出法子来，因为百姓都侧耳听他。

13 The Passover of the Jews was near,
and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14In the temple he found
people selling cattle, sheep, and doves, and the money-changers
seated at their tables. 15Making a whip of cords, he
drove all of them out of the temple, both the sheep
and the cattle. He also poured out the coins of the
money-changers and overturned their tables. 16He told
those who were selling the doves, ‘Take these things
out of here! Stop making my Father’s house a market-place!’
17His disciples remembered that it was written, ‘Zeal
for your house will consume me.’
13.犹太人的逾越节近了，耶稣就上耶路撒冷去。 14.看见殿里有卖牛羊鸽子的，并有兑换银钱的人，坐在那里。 15.耶稣就拿绳子作成鞭子，把牛羊都赶出殿去。倒出兑换银钱之人的银钱，推翻他们的桌子。
16.又对卖鸽子的说，把这些东西拿去。不要将我父的殿，当作买卖的地方。
17.他的门徒就想起经上记着说，我为你的殿，心里焦急，如同火烧。
