1The
beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son
of God.
2 As it is written in the prophet Isaiah,*
‘See,
I am sending my messenger ahead of you,*
who
will prepare your way;
3 the voice of one crying
out in the wilderness:
“Prepare the way of the Lord,
make his paths straight” ’,
4 John the baptizer
appeared* in the wilderness,
proclaiming a baptism
of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. 5And people
from the whole Judean countryside and all the people
of Jerusalem were going out to him, and were baptized
by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
6
Now John was clothed with camel’s hair, with a leather
belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey.
7 He proclaimed, ‘The one who is more powerful
than I is coming after me; I am not worthy to stoop
down and untie the thong of his sandals.
8 I have
baptized you with*water; but he will baptize you with*
the Holy Spirit.’
9 In those days Jesus came from
Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the
Jordan.
10 And just as he was coming up out of the
water, he saw the heavens torn apart and the Spirit
descending like a dove on him.
11And a voice came
from heaven, ‘You are my Son, the Beloved;*with you
I am well pleased.’
12 And the Spirit immediately
drove him out into the wilderness. 13He was in the wilderness
for forty days, tempted by Satan; and he was with the
wild beasts; and the angels waited on him.
14 Now
after John was arrested, Jesus came to
Galilee,
proclaiming the good news* of God,* 15and saying, ‘The
time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near;*
repent, and believe in the good news.’
1. 神的儿子，耶稣基督福音的起头，
2.正如先知以赛亚书上记着说，（有古卷无以赛亚三字）看哪，我要差遣我的使者在你面前，豫备道路。 3.在旷野有人声喊着说，豫备主的道，修直他的路。
4.照这话，约翰来了，在旷野施洗，传悔改的洗礼，使罪得赦。
5.犹太全地，和耶路撒冷的人，都出去到约翰那里，承认他们的罪，在约但河里受他的洗。
6.约翰穿骆驼毛的衣服，腰束皮带，吃的是蝗虫野蜜。
7.他传道说，有一位在我以后来的，能力比我更大，我就是弯腰给他解鞋带，也是不配的。
8.我是用水给你们施洗，他却要用圣灵给你们施洗。
9.那时，耶稣从加利利的拿撒勒来，在约但河里受了约翰的洗。
10.他从水里一上来，就看见天裂开了，圣灵彷佛鸽子，降在他身上。
11.又有声音从天上来说，你是我的爱子，我喜悦你。 12.圣灵就把耶稣催到旷野里去。 13.他在旷野四十天受撒但的试探。并与野兽同在一处。且有天使来伺候他。
14.约翰下监以后，耶稣来到加利利，宣传神的福音，
15.说，日期满了，神的国近了。你们当悔改，信福音。 |

account of the genealogy* of Jesus the Messiah,* the
son of David, the son of Abraham.
2 Abraham was the
father of Isaac, and Isaac the father of Jacob, and
Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,
3 and
Judah the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez
the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Aram,
4 and Aram the father of Aminadab, and Aminadab
the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon,
5 and Salmon the father of Boaz by Rahab, and Boaz
the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed the father of Jesse,
6 and Jesse the father of King David. And David
was the father of Solomon by the wife of Uriah,
7
and Solomon the father of Rehoboam, and Rehoboam the
father of Abijah, and Abijah the father of Asaph,* 8and
Asaph* the father of Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat the
father of Joram, and Joram the father of Uzziah, 9and
Uzziah the father of Jotham, and Jotham the father of
Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezekiah, 10 and Hezekiah
the father of Manasseh, and Manasseh the father of Amos,*
and Amos* the father of Josiah,
11and Josiah the
father of Jechoniah and his brothers, at the time of
the deportation to Babylon.
12 And after the
deportation to Babylon: Jechoniah was the father of
Salathiel, and Salathiel the father of Zerubbabel,
13
and Zerubbabel the father of Abiud, and Abiud the father
of Eliakim, and Eliakim the father of Azor,
14 and
Azor the father of Zadok, and Zadok the father of Achim,
and Achim the father of Eliud,
15 and Eliud the
father of Eleazar, and Eleazar the father of Matthan,
and Matthan the father of Jacob,
16 and Jacob the
father of Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus
was born, who is called the Messiah.*

Since many have undertaken to set down an orderly account
of the events that have been fulfilled among us,
2
just as they were handed on to us by those who from
the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the
word,
3 I too decided, after investigating everything
carefully from the very first, to write an orderly account
for you, most excellent Theophilus,
4 so that you
may know the truth concerning the things about which
you have been instructed.
5 In the days of King
Herod of Judea, there was
a priest named Zechariah,
who belonged to the priestly order of Abijah. His wife
was a descendant of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.
6 Both of them were righteous before God, living
blamelessly according to all the commandments and regulations
of the Lord.
7 But they had no children, because
Elizabeth was barren, and both were getting on in years.
8
Once when he was serving as priest before God and his
section was on duty,
9 he was chosen by lot, according
to the custom of the priesthood, to enter the sanctuary
of the Lord and offer incense.
10 Now at the time
of the incense-offering, the whole assembly of the people
was praying outside.
11Then there appeared to him
an angel of the Lord, standing at the right side of
the altar of incense.
12 When Zechariah saw him,
he was terrified; and fear overwhelmed him.
13 But
the angel said to him, ‘Do not be afraid, Zechariah,
for your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth
will bear you a son, and you will name him John.
14
You will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice
at his birth,
15 for he will be great in the sight
of the Lord. He must never drink wine or strong drink;
even before his birth he will be filled with the Holy
Spirit.
1.提阿非罗大人哪，有好些人提笔作书，
2.述说在我们中间所成就的事，是照传道的人，从起初亲眼看见，又传给我们的
3.这些事我既从起头都详细考察了，就定意要按着次序写给你，
4.使你知道所学之道都是确实的。
5.当犹太王希律的时候，亚比雅班里有一个祭司，名叫撒迦利亚。他妻子是亚伦的后人，名叫以利沙伯。
6.他们二人，在神面前都是义人，遵行主的一切诫命礼仪，没有可指摘的。
7.只是没有孩子，因为以利沙伯不生育，两个人又年纪老迈了。
8.撒迦利亚按班次，在神前面供祭司的职分，
9.照祭司的规矩掣签，得进主殿烧香。
10.烧香的时后，众百姓在外面祷告。
11.有主的使者站在香坛的右边，向他显现。
12.撒迦利亚看见，就惊慌害怕。
13.天使对他说，撒迦利亚，不要害怕。因为你的祈祷已经被听见了，你的妻子以利沙伯要给你生一个儿子，你要给他起名叫约翰。
14.你必喜欢快乐，有许多人因他出世，也必喜乐。 15.他在主面前将要为大，淡酒浓酒都不喝，从母腹里就被圣灵充满了。
